It's so weird to rate this book, because I loved it but it was terrible. The parallels between Jones and other political leaders is terrifying. When our leaders don't read or learn history, Santayana's statement seems truer that just about anything: Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. This cult leader should stand out as a outlier, an anomaly. Not a blueprint for people in power right now. What the hell.
