What do you get when you combine classic romcom tropes like enemies-to-lovers and forced proximity with spice and a ticker-tape parade of green flags? If Not You! After The Heartbreak Hotel, I didn’t think it could be done again, but Ellen O’Clover said, “hold my drink!” Mattie and Cole are perfection with witty barbs at each other and a competition that drives each to a breaking point that erupts like a volcano. O’Clover gives us beautifully flawed characters that I cheer for at every turn. I may have actually shed a few tears at the raw and emotional connections between several of the characters. Ellen O’Clover is one of my favorite romance writers!
