Trad Wife A creepy, razor-sharp horror novel

Bring me all of the #TradWife horror! When journalist Jenny Kaplan decides to write a profile on Mia Wright, the queen of Black Swan farm, she gets more than she bargained for. Throughout the story, Langan weaves moments where the reader might feel sympathy or empathy for Mia and her children. We see Jenny start to waver under Mia’s spell, thinking this woman is her friend. But as Jenny digs deeper, the horror at the root of the farm is exposed, and it is nothing that I ever expected! Langan’s critique of the “trad wife” influencer phenomenon is razor-sharp and I couldn’t put the book down. Along with Saratoga Schaefer’s Trad Wife and Caro Claire Burke’s Yesteryear, I hope this subgenre of Trad Wife horror continues!
