The Gilda Stories (Anniversary, Expanded)

I've been meaning to read this book for a while, because Jewelle Gomez is married to my partner's aunt! So this is the first time I've read a book by someone I know in real life. I was not disappointed - it's imaginative and thought provoking. I like this version of vampirism, I liked the walk through different stages of history, I liked the characters.
